Alter Bridge return to the UK later this year and are getting ready to rock The Hydro Glasgow with a stellar triple bill package including Shinedown and Halestorm.
Alter Bridge rose from the ashes of Creed and have carved out some significant hits from their three existing albums (and fourth due by the time of this show), with Myles Kennedy’s lead vocals adding to the bands melodic metal edge.
Shinedown have been going since 2001 and hail from Florida and have released four albums since then. With elements of post grunge to their sound and a hint of Southern Rock (they do a mean cover of Lynyrd Skynyrd’s ‘Simple Man‘) they offer up a unique sound.
Halestorm were the first female fronted Hard Rock act to pick up a Grammy, Lizzy Hale and her brother Arejay Hale founded the core of the band as teenagers before signing with Atlantic record in 2005. New track ‘Freak Like Me’ is currently setting the rock charts ablaze and looks likely to be a pretty big crossover hit – by the time this show rolls around this band will be in demand, so make sure you’re there early.
All three appear at The Hydro, Glasgow on Monday October 21st and Tickets are on sale now.
