Rod Stewart returns to the SSE Hydro for two nights of great music.
Famously opening Glasgow’s SSE Hydro back in 2013, Rod Stewart makes a welcome return visit. The global superstar and member of Rock Royalty is playing a number of high profile outdoor gigs throughout the Summer at a selection of stadium venues. He’ll be playing an enormous show at Kilmarnock Football Club as well as Inverness’ Tulloch Caledonian Stadium.
When Winter begins to roll in, fans will be warmed with the prospect of catching Rod Stewart at the Hydro on 13 and 16 of December 2016.
Tickets for the first night were close to selling out so the extra date was added to ensure the Scottish fans get the opportunity to see the great man in action.
His last album was 2015‘s ‘Another Country’ and it follows a run of classic albums, dating back to his early days with The Faces and legendary records like ‘Every Picture Tells A Story’. The 2000s saw him tackle the tunes from the Great American Songbook across three, massive selling albums, as well as his own take on classic Soul and R&B with the ‘Soulbook’ album.
