Slash is back and is getting set to Rock the Hydro Glasgow in December.
Legendary guitarist Slash has a new album, World on Fire, slated for release in September and as part of the tour schedule he’ll be playing in Glasgow on the 4th December 2014. Featuring Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators, the album will be released on Slash’s own record label Dik Hayd International and features the blazing title track as it’s first single. This is his third solo album and the roster features Myles Kennedy on vocals with Bren Fitz on the drums and Todd Kerns on the bass. Myles Kennedy contributed to some of the earlier Slash releases but is more well know to fans for leading rockers Alter Bridge through four albums (and who played at The Hydro last year as part of a blistering rock triple bill with Shinedown and Halestorm). The album comes in a superb cover designed by US contemporary artist Ron English, featuring a whole host of crazy imagery
The band will be working out their chops through the States this Summer before heading over to Europe for these shows in Winter. Tickets are now on sale for Slash at the SSE Hydro Glasgow.
