Here’s a quick run down of events taking place at the Hydro Glasgow during September 2023. Live music, top tours and more will be on offer to truly entertain you.
The month kicks off with pop punk stalwarts Blink 182 returning to the Glasgow venue on the 1st and 2nd September. Famed for their catchy anthems and wicked sense of humour, Blink 182 will be raising the roof. Expect classics like ‘All The Small Things’, ‘What’s My Age Again’ and cuts from albums such as ‘Enema of the State’ ‘Dude Ranch’ and most recent release ‘Nine’ from 2019.
Shania Twain is next up, proving she’s still the one, with an arena tour promoting her most recent album ‘Queen of Me‘. There’s plenty of room for older hits in the show, so expect some belters from albums such as ‘Now’ and the classic ‘Come on Over‘. Shania plays the Glasgow venue on 14th, 22nd and 23rd September.
Busted are heading to the Hydro Glasgow as part of their 2023 tour and are set to play on 20th September and 1st October. It looks like the first date is sold out, so check out available with Ticketmaster for the second date. It’s a 20th anniversary tour and with Charlie’s success on the Masked Singer still in people’s memories it’s no wonder the shows are proving popular l. Support comes from Hanson (mmm bop), New Hope Club and Time.
Our final act of September are The National. The celebrated indie rockers have released a brace of quality albums from Alligator, Boxer, High Violet through to their most recent album ‘First Two Pages of Frankenstein’. The National play the OVO Hydro Glasgow on Sunday 24 September with support from Soccer Mommy.
